Shenzhen, China – A new leap in compact thermal vision technology arrives with the launch of the KP-MINI256-9 FPV Thermal Imaging Camera, designed to deliver powerful performance in a miniaturized form. With its advanced 256×192 VOx uncooled detector, ultra-low power consumption, and robust adaptability, this module redefines how thermal imaging integrates into FPV drones, robotics, and intelligent equipment.

Compact Power, Superior Sensitivity

At the heart of the KP-MINI256-9 lies a high-sensitivity Vanadium Oxide (VOx) microbolometer sensor, capable of capturing detailed thermal imagery across an 8–14 μm response band. Despite its small size (≤39mm × 20mm × 20mm) and light weight (≤23g), it achieves a NETD ≤50 mK (@25°C, F#1.0), ensuring clear, high-contrast images even in challenging thermal environments.

Engineered for Integration

The KP-MINI256-9 is specifically designed for flexible system integration — whether mounted on drone pods, robotic gimbals, or wearable helmet systems. Its DC 5–17V wide input range, analog CVBS output, and UART communication interface make it suitable for both professional and industrial applications requiring compact, stable, and real-time thermal feedback.

Smart Imaging Features

This module supports a range of automatic and manual calibration functions, including background correction and bad-point correction, to maintain image precision. Users can select from 15 pseudo-color modes such as White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red, and Rainbow, enabling optimized visualization for diverse scenarios. Additional features like image detail enhancement, electronic amplification (×1–×8), brightness and contrast adjustment, and AGC histogram control enhance its operational flexibility.

Durable Design for Harsh Environments

Built to operate in extreme temperatures from -40°C to +80°C, the KP-MINI256-9 ensures stable performance under vibration and shock conditions. Its ≤0.8W low power consumption design also makes it ideal for mobile and battery-powered systems.
